Plans for continued work

Expand real world learning to core content areas, such as ELA, Math, Science, Visual and Performing Arts

Given that the program is in its second year of implementation, this leaves a lot of room for improvement. Now that we have seen that the program works for many of our most difficult content areas, we would like to see how we can expand that into the other content areas. This will impact each and every student as they maneuver through and decide on their career path. Our goal is that all students have this experience so that they have a leg up in whatever future career they choose.

Further expand the Broker role to increase access to employers and additional partners

While we have made contact and involved many local establishments already, expanding our broker network and their roles will ultimately support real world learning entering into all content areas. Different establishments will be able to provide more relevant real world learning lessons. We want to onboard more community partners and help them see that participation can range from 150 hours of internships to a simple virtual call.
