location to house student data in an Operational Data Store (ODS)

One of our biggest successes was getting our preliminary ODS up and running. We involved Ed-Fi experts from the beginning of this process, and ended up connecting with a data consulting and technology firm who set up the ODS for us.

different types of integrations into our ODS

After our district put our ODS into place, we started working on connecting different applications. The four integrations we decided to start with spanned a wide range of student data. These included a behavioral platform, a formative assessment tool, state assessment data, and our student information system.

designs for integrated data dashboards

Our district has finished the preliminary mockups for integrated data dashboards: one for teachers and one for students. Each dashboard integrates data from different systems, like growth in state assessment data, behavioral incidents per week, and overall trends and areas of concern, and visualizes them in a single window.
