We assembled a district team focused on solving challenges in data interoperability. The team was comprised of members with backgrounds in administration, coaching, assessment and accountability, student information system management, and classroom teaching.

Since August 2018, members from our district team have traveled all over the United States in pursuit of solving this challenge meeting with vendors and organizations like Ed-Fi, and collaborating with other districts in networks like the League of Innovative Schools Data Interoperability Challenge Collaborative.

The Operational Data Store (ODS) is automatically updated with data from multiple applications. Data fields include items like classes taken, attendance issues, discipline incidents, and assessment performance levels. The Student Information System (SIS) maps to many of these fields.
