Inspiring, engaging, and empowering our students through innovation
We have established a 15 member Business and Industry Advisory Committee to work with local businesses and community based organizations to better understand their needs so the school district can support students as they transition to the workforce.
Teachers were able to use the Nepris virtual platform in order to enhance student learning. Connecting professionals to students linked the theoretical concepts of the classroom to real world applications.
Project based learning allows students to directly apply theoretical concepts to real world concerns. An additional 35 teachers will be trained during the summer of 2020. Our hope is that Real World Learning sessions and activities will continue to grow as teachers familiarize themselves with the process and see the benefits firsthand.
