Has over 25 years experience in K-12 education, currently serving as the District Director of Curriculum, Instruction, & Assessment. Has also been an adjunct professor at Montclair State University for over 20 years. Holds an EdD from the University of Florida in Educational Technology. Professional passion is effective, innovative, engaging, and research-based instruction and technology integration.

Fun Fact

Has been an EMT and firefighter for nearly 33 years, plays 4 musical instruments, and enjoys running, biking, and swimming as far as possible.

Career Highlights

Has served as a physics teacher, supervisor of instruction, director of curriculum, and superintendent. Has presented at numerous conferences, advocates for equity and inclusion, and has spearheaded initiatives to create high school environments that promote real-world learning opportunities. Holds an EdD in Educational Leadership from Seton Hall.

Fun Fact

Has spent entire career in the Pascack Valley Regional High School District, beginning as a physics teacher in one of the high schools. During that time, authored two physics books, “The Handy Physics Answer Book” and “Applied Physics.”
