I have been in education for 29 years. The most rewarding work is working with underserved populations in helping them successfully navigate our public school system.

Fun Fact

She just finished designing and building a house. It was quite an experience to choose every single facet of a living space. Something that is exciting when the project starts and extremely exciting when the project is finally over.

Career Highlights

Patrick implement blended learning programs, computer science and coding academies, and creating career pathways for students to earn technology certifications. He also served as the Director of Educational Technology and Information Services with the Huntington Beach Union High School District and worked the Montebello Unified School District.

Fun Fact

Patrick believes he has the longest last name (15 letters) in San Diego County and is waiting for someone to prove him wrong

Career Highlights

While serving as Chief Academic Officer at Lynwood Unified, the district was one of only three in the nation to be selected as a 2017 AP District of the Year. Dr. Paul Gothold was appointed San Diego County superintendent of schools in May 2017. Witnessing students change their lives is a highlight of his career.
