Ivan has proudly served in public education for over 30 years. He is an alum from Denver Public Schools and still remembers the moment he wanted to become a teacher. Ivan still considers him a teacher in heart and practice and believes that public education has the potential to transform lives. Education changed his life trajectory.
Fun Fact
After serving hundreds of students over his career Ivan and his wife Kelly are raising their own students, two bilingual boys. The joy, curiosity, and energy exhibited by the boys is a blessing!
