As a part-time sailor and competitive sailboat racer, recently sailed on Team Oracle’s USA 76, the America’s Cup sailboat that lost to Switzerland in the 2003 Louis Vuitton Cup in New Zealand, thus eliminating the United States that year.
1. Passed the largest school district bond in SC state history 468 million
2. 1st African American superintendent in school district history, 90 plus years (not sure how old the district is)
3. Established Richland 2 AVID Early College

Co-chair and project manager for the Richland Two 1:1 student computing initiative for over 20,000 students.
Worked with team to develop the R2 Innovates program and create an innovation lab at the Richland Two Institute of Innovation. Over 1000 staff members have participated in innovation teams or joined one of our open innovation challenges.
Fun Fact
Donna loves all things related to water: swimming, scuba diving, kayaking, and paddleboarding. She has been swimming with whale sharks off the coast of Mexico and has even snorkeled in the Red Sea.
