Career Highlights
Began career in education as an elementary teacher 22 years ago. Since joining the team in Mineola, has served as an elementary and middle school principal, Director of Pupil Services, and Director of Technology before assuming the role of Assistant Superintendent. Works with district personnel to create new models for professional development that leverage the power of technology so that teachers can learn with and from each other for the betterment of our students.
Began his career as a social studies teacher in NYC, earned his doctorate from Columbia University, and accepted an administrative position with Mineola in 1999. Proponent of using technology to engage students in rigorous content. Has been instrumental in creating a platform to assess student learning using electronic portfolios and digital badges.
