Compton Unified School District

Compton Unified School District works with hands-on interactive and “Cuisine of Compton” partners to create STEAMFest, a full afternoon of fun and excitement that attracts 10,000 community members. STEAMFest showcases the many STEAM programs from schools across the district and inspires students to pursue STEAM majors and careers. Through interactive displays and student exhibitions, STEAMFest shows students that the bounds of their imagination are their only limits to changing the world. This event also gives students a chance to flex their critical thinking and collaboration muscles through Compton’s School STEAM Interactive stations, a grand GATE Expo, an awesome Art Exhibition, and a dynamic District Science Fair!
