Mentor Public Schools

We expanded our STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) curriculum to STEAM  (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math) at all grade levels through Project Lead the Way. We have observing gains in critical thinking, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. Students have opportunities  to create, build, and work together, providing opportunities to hone those skills. It is especially promising to see our students learning that if something does not work on the first try, they can focus on why it didn't work, do something differently, and try again until they find success. Students are sharing that they love the hands-on learning experience in the classroom.
