Partnerships help students develop leadership skills
Developing a leadership curriculum with community partners

Our partnerships with The Ohio State University, Clark State Community College, and Urbana University (to name a few) have allowed us to provide innovative credentialing and certification opportunities for our students. A few of these opportunities include a leadership excellence curriculum that we have developed in collaboration with The Ohio State University, allowing our students to learn about leadership and complete a practicum designed to build on leadership qualities.

With Clark State, we have worked to develop a Lean Six Sigma credentialing opportunity—the first in the nation—that is specific to students. Upon completion of this program, students have the opportunity to earn their Lean 6 Sigma Green Belt. Last year, approximately 110 Juniors earned their Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt and over 20 earned their Green Belts. Area manufacturing companies and businesses recognize this certification as a means to leadership opportunities within their organizations. Our partnership with Urbana University has also led to an equity for all campaign, where $10,000 per year scholarships for all Graham graduates with a 2.5 GPA or better are now available, ultimately providing access to post-secondary opportunities that otherwise may not have been afforded.
