Springfield R-XII School District

Imagine is an envisioning process designed to reimagine the high school experience in Springfield Public Schools. Through a week-long design thinking process, district leaders and teachers assume the role of a student and spend two days living the life of a student in Springfield Public Schools before regrouping with their own students to discuss the experience. This eye-opening design process has been pivotal in changing the high school student experience in Springfield Public Schools. The most significant change was a shift to a Career Academy approach for two of our high schools. Students provided Imagine SPS participants with feedback through numerous focus groups.
